There’s no denying it. We at Future Boy Design are history geeks. So it was a true pleasure and honor to donate design work to a wonderful historical organization in Manhattan devoted to Theodore Roosevelt and his legacy. The plan was to work with this wonderful group to come up with an exciting new social media campaign for them and spread increased awareness for America’s great President Theodore Roosevelt.

Anyone who is a T.R. buff will understand that this dynamo of a man was by no means quiet, subtle, or mild mannered. He was far from the sepia-faded images that we, in modern America, now see him as. So our mission with this campaign was to bring the energy of Roosevelt back.

We did this with bright, vivid colors. We kept the shapes and symbols very simple. No gradients, no muddy coloring. We wanted the original Rough Rider to be brought back as he was originally seen – in pure, in-your-face vibrancy.

We are very proud with the results, and proud to have worked with the great people at the Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace. If you’re in Manhattan, you must go.
